Full Job Description

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Accounting Intern to join our Finance team. This internship provides an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates to gain hands-on experience in accounting and financial operations while working alongside experienced professionals.

The Accounting Intern will assist with daily accounting activities, financial recordkeeping, reconciliations, and administrative support while developing a strong foundation in accounting principles and practices.

Responsibilities

Assist with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes.
Enter and maintain financial data in accounting systems.
Support account reconciliations and general ledger maintenance.
Assist with invoice processing and filing.
Help prepare financial reports and spreadsheets.
Review and organize financial records and documentation.
Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
Assist with auditing and compliance-related tasks.
Perform data entry with a high level of accuracy.
Complete special projects and administrative duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
Willingness to learn and work in a collaborative team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous internship or office experience.
Familiarity with accounting software such as Sage, RAMP, or similar systems.
Experience using Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
