Are you a passionate nurse educator who thrives on mentoring others and creating engaging learning experiences? We're seeking an experienced RN Staff Educator to lead clinical education and professional development for our multidisciplinary healthcare team.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to shape the knowledge, skills, and confidence of employees across the organization, from new hires and nursing staff to mental health technicians and other clinical professionals. Through orientation, simulation-based learning, competency validation, and ongoing staff development, you'll play a vital role in ensuring exceptional patient care and clinical excellence.

What You'll DoWelcome and Develop New Team Members

Coordinate and facilitate clinical orientation programs for new employees.
Create individualized learning plans and orientation schedules.
Serve as a clinical mentor and resource throughout the onboarding process.
Track and evaluate employee competencies and orientation progress.

Lead Organization-Wide Education

Design, implement, and evaluate innovative educational programs for clinical staff.
Deliver classroom, hands-on, and simulation-based learning experiences.
Develop training programs that support regulatory requirements, best practices, and organizational goals.
Coordinate annual certifications and mandatory education programs, including CPR and Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI).

Promote Clinical Excellence

Ensure staff competency in required skills, procedures, and clinical standards.
Provide coaching and remediation support when performance concerns arise.
Collaborate with department leaders to identify educational needs and develop targeted learning solutions.

Support Future Healthcare Professionals

Serve as a liaison for nursing schools and clinical placement programs.
Coordinate student rotations and provide orientation to students and instructors.
Foster a positive learning environment for future healthcare professionals.

What We're Looking For

Current RN license.
Strong clinical background and passion for education.
Experience in staff development, training, leadership, or clinical education preferred.
Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
Ability to engage learners across multiple disciplines and experience levels.
Experience with simulation-based education and competency assessment is a plus.
