We are seeking an energetic and highly skilled Head Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, from menu development and food preparation to staff supervision and food safety compliance. Your passion for fine dining, culinary innovation, and team leadership will drive the success of our restaurant or catering service. As the Head Chef, you will foster a vibrant kitchen environment that emphasizes quality, efficiency, and hospitality excellence, ensuring every guest leaves satisfied and eager to return.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage the entire kitchen team, including chefs, cooks, and support staff, fostering a collaborative and motivated work environment
Develop innovative menus that align with brand standards and cater to diverse dietary needs while maintaining high-quality presentation and flavor
Oversee food preparation, cooking, and plating to ensure consistency and excellence in every dish served
Implement and uphold strict food safety sanitizing procedures, hygiene standards, and proper food handling practices across all kitchen operations
Manage inventory control, monitor stock levels, order supplies efficiently, and minimize waste to optimize food costs
Supervise catering events, banquets, and special functions from planning through execution to ensure seamless service
Oversee shift management by coordinating staffing schedules, training new team members, and maintaining smooth daily operations
Ensure compliance with all health regulations and industry standards related to food safety and sanitation
Collaborate with management on menu planning, pricing strategies, and cost control initiatives to maximize profitability
Maintain a positive work environment that encourages continuous improvement, professional development, and high morale

Requirements

Extensive culinary experience with a strong background in fine dining environments
Proven supervising experience managing kitchen staff in a fast-paced setting
Demonstrated banquet experience along with catering expertise
Knowledge of dietary department standards and ability to accommodate special dietary requests
Strong skills in food production, food service management, inventory management, and cost control measures
Hands-on experience with food safety sanitizing procedures and proper food handling techniques
Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on team management and staff development
Familiarity with restaurant or hospitality industry operations including menu planning and shift management
Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining attention to detail in cooking and presentation
Passion for culinary arts combined with a commitment to hospitality excellence
