We’re growing at MK Roofing and are actively looking for our next incredible team member! Our team is currently on the hunt for an in-house Marketing Specialist!

MK Roofing is a roofing company specializing in metal and shingle roofs, siding, and gutters. We are a rapidly growing company with over nine years in business and a proven track record of success. Our team does not expect you to know every single aspect of marketing, but we do expect you to know quite a bit for this role. Found below, is a breakdown of ideal aspects and must-haves for this role. Don’t worry, we are not one of those companies that are looking for a marketing guru with 40 years of experience. BUT, we are in search of someone who will be with us long-term and meets most of the requirements below.

The ideal candidate must be willing to spearhead all of our marketing tasks and initiatives with little to no micromanagement from our team. Our ideal candidate will have an extremely strong marketing background and be highly motivated to meet our team’s monthly and quarterly goals. This role requires excellent communication skills and digital marketing skills, as well as the ability to learn, understand and target our ideal customer avatar online. Think this could be you? You will be a great fit for our team if you:

Are extremely passionate, creative, motivated, and driven with a strong background in the marketing arena.
Have a background in community marketing, digital marketing, content marketing, event marketing, brand marketing, acquisition marketing, public relations, and/or email marketing.
Know a lot about marketing and do not need a lot of daily direction, training, coaching, and “micro-management” from our team!
Willing to keep learning about marketing, algorithms, what works and what doesn't on social media with new updates, how to optimize socials
Love to learn about creative design and look forward to designing and monitoring social media posts
Love to learn about what works and what does not in marketing and in business
Love reading data and figuring out what it means and how it tells a story in marketing
Are looking for a long-term marketing position to further your career

You will be a great fit for this role if your past skill sets involve:

Running paid ads on Facebook and Instagram ads manager.
Primary driver of content creation. Managing primary digital marketing channels including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and pay-per-click campaigns etc. We require reels, stories, still image posts, etc. to go out consistently each week
Knowing how to read data across Google, Facebook and Instagram paid ad accounts.
Have been in digital marketing in the past and know a LOT about Google, SEO, ad copy, headlines, visually appealing ads and what sells.
Know a little about lead nurturing, effective communication, and organizing strategies from start to finish.

Must haves to apply for this role:

2+ years of experience in digital marketing
Comprehensive brand awareness. We want this candidate to spearhead getting our name out there, recognized, and trusted! Complete training provided…can’t fail if you are willing to believe in us and yourself!
Previous experience running paid ads on paid social media accounts (think ads manager)
Communication and writing skills - emails, ad copy, brochures, templates, scripts for videos, communicating with team members on leads coming in and who is following up with them etc.
Know how to make visually appealing/ incredible designs utilizing Canva or Adobe etc.
Feel comfortable communicating with our internal team members on data and what strategies are currently in place
Feel comfortable keeping other team members accountable (sales team on leads, project managers to get photos taken, team members to film, etc).
Video experience - not required but we would like this new candidate to be willing to intensely train on video creation. Editing video, adding sound to video and “directing the show” with our team members to get powerful video created. We will train this new candidate quite vigorously with video strategies and implementation, but past experience is ideal. We will use video in pay-per-click strategies, social media posts and much more.
Previous sales experience a plus.
Creativity! We want your creativity brought to the table. Ideas for story telling, videos, ideas for campaigns and social media is what we are after!

This role is a full time in-house/non-remote position.
We are seeking someone that will be dedicated to our team long-term! This is extremely important to our growth and our team’s overall goals and success.
We are looking to fill this position immediately.
The salary for this position will be $60,000-$75,000 depending on experience. This position will also have additional earning incentives.
