This award-winning momentum was built under the leadership of our former General Manager, who recently and unexpectedly departed for personal reasons. We wish him the very best.

Now, Twist is searching for a Business Operations Manager to continue leading and developing our team — someone with the vision, passion, and drive to take this award-winning establishment to the next level through creative initiatives, improved processes, and innovative leadership.

Who We Are:

Twist Martini is a Town Center icon, nestled on the corner of Commerce and Market Streets between the majestic Westin Hotel and the Armada Hoffler building. Our very popular heated patio sits directly across from the beautiful Sandler Center Plaza — prime Town Center real estate.

We are an upscale-casual to fine dining destination with an elevated craft cocktail program, award-winning culinary offerings, and a reputation for excellence. We thrive on being a metrics and analytics-based business, and we take pride in our family culture.

Who You Are:

You have mastered the art of upscale-casual to fine dining restaurant culture and operations. You bring an owner's mindset, genuine passion, and the dedication required to lead an award-winning team. You understand that hospitality is both an art and a science — and you excel at both.

Core Responsibilities:

Business Operations & Financial Management

Oversee full business operations with P&L accountability.
Financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting — you know the tools needed to access and provide accurate data and reports.
Restaurant, food, and liquor inventory management.
Vendor negotiations and cost control

Compliance & Regulations:

Expert knowledge of ABC regulations and Health Department requirements.
Ensure full compliance across all operational areas.

Sales & Marketing Leadership:

Develop and implement aggressive sales and marketing programs.
Drive revenue growth through creative initiatives and strategic planning.

Private Events & Catering:

Schedule, plan, and execute business, organizational, institutional, philanthropic, and private events.
Market and book events to maximize revenue streams.

Team Leadership & Culture:

Lead, develop, and mentor a cohesive staff.
Build and maintain our family culture working environment.
Foster loyalty, dedication, and commitment across all team members.

Requirements:

Experience & Background:

MINIMUM 5 YEARS of current, relevant experience in upscale-casual to fine dining restaurant operations.
Proven track record in business operations, financial analysis, and reporting.
Demonstrated expertise in restaurant/food/liquor inventory management.
Experience with ABC and Health regulations compliance.
Background in developing and executing sales and marketing programs.
Private event planning and execution experience.

Skills & Mindset:

Metrics and analytics-driven decision making.
Forecasting and reporting proficiency.
Strong business operations background.
Owner's mindset with genuine passion for hospitality.
Ability to build and maintain a positive, family-oriented culture.

Professional Standards:

Excellent references required.
Clean record mandatory.
Experience, loyalty, dedication, commitment, and passion are must-haves.

Compensation & Growth:

Salary: $75,000 – $95,000 dependent on years and depth of experience, skill sets and operational expertise, leadership qualities and team development ability, your ability to market and book events, and significant portfolio of clientele that will follow you to Twist.
