Full Job Description

Responsibilities include assisting members and potential members with their Credit Union needs; explaining products and services, setting up new accounts and loans, and cross selling services to meet a member's needs, supervising branch operations and coaching team members to encourage a well-trained and motivated staff.
Major Responsibilities: Assist members with opening and closing accounts, answering questions about products and services, and resolving any members service needs. This individual will provide prompt, friendly, personal and professional service to all members. This individual will also be responsible for credit union transactions in order to service the member including loan processing, promoting marketing programs, and utilizing cross-selling standards in order to become the member’s primary financial institution. The successful candidate will be responsible for following all policies and procedures and servicing the members in a friendly, courteous and professional manner. This individual needs to be sales-oriented and results-oriented, and project a positive attitude. This individual will supervise branch operations and coach team members to ensure a well-trained and highly motivated staff.
Position Requirements: The successful candidate will possess a High School Diploma or equivalent. Prior experience in the Credit Union or industry background is preferred with prior supervisory experience. Professionalism with a positive and team focused demeanor are essential elements of the position. Excellent interpersonal skills are required to effectively communicate with members both in person and by phone, and possess coaching skills to encourage team members. Candidate must be able to operate a PC and related software programs with accuracy and speed. Physical qualifications include standing or sitting at a computer for extended periods of time and the ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
