You start with one client, and then you get more as you learn and grow. We invest in you to help you learn the ropes, and as you do, you take on more clients and your compensation grows.

You in a nutshell
- 6.0 + years experience w/ SEO
- Loves SEO, explaining it to the client
- Open to AI and new things coming out (game is changing all the time)
- Likes working with a great team, this is not a Han Solo position
- Can connect with the client in meetings, do presentations on SEO & Data
- Has time to work and is organized, so work is a breeze
- Can use Click-Up and be cool with it. Click-Up all things all the time.

Position Responsibilities:
- This is not a pure SEO role; you'll wear a lot of hats and pitch in wherever the client needs it
- Comfortable doing general marketing and website tasks outside of SEO, like setting up forms, plugins, and other odds and ends
- Team meeting every Monday @ 8:00AM PST
- Client interfacing and client meetings
- Use our & create strategies for clients websites based on where they are currently
- Use ClickUp for keeping track of tasks and completed tasks
- Use ClickUp for hours each week to docment task in the roadmap
- Use Slack for internal and client communications
- You have pure initiative, you are a doer
- Loves being accountable and loves process
- Works with the team and likes to collaborate

- Based on your audit of client website, create a strategy and specific tasks
- Complete tasks in our tracking system / Click-Up
- Work with our web development team to ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented on newly developed code
- Prepare the business for Google’s Page Experience Update
- Implement site recommendations based on latest algorithms and competitive analysis
- You stay up to date on current industry practices, news, and algorithm changes
- Daily monitoring of Google Search Console to report on and correct errors and warnings
- Reporting (data from analytics/Google Console)
Strong knowledge and passion for the following:
- Schema
- Coreweb vitals
- Canva
- SEMrush
- Elementor
- Click-Up
- JSON, Java script, HTML
- Google crawl health/crawl budget of websites
- Structured data
- Page speed
- XML sitemaps and robots.txt
- Reviewing and analyzing internal and client sites for areas that can be improved and optimized
- Preparing detailed strategy and audit reports
- Identifying powerful keywords to drive the most valuable traffic
- Developing link-building strategies
- Analyzing keywords and SEO techniques used by competitors
- Keeping updated on both white hat and black hat SEO strategies to avoid and/or stay within search engine guidelines
- Compiling and presenting SEO guidelines
- Update content and website links for maximum optimization and search engine rankings
Experience:
- You know WordPress and Elementor inside and out, not just the basics
- You can build a blog or landing page in Elementor from scratch, no hand-holding needed in minutes
- You take initiative and move the needle for clients through SEO actions, not just theory
- You understand how search engines actually work, you take initiative to get her done, but you always loop the team in before making changes
- You understand responsive web design and how it affects SEO performance
- You know SEO best practices for ADA compliance, site hierarchy, link building, and content
- You understand Google's Core Web Vitals and know exactly what to do to make a website fast
- You understand that reporting is key, you know your way around Google Looker Studio and can navigate it with ease
