TMS is currently looking for a Hand Lancer/Burner at our Jewett, TX location.
Schedule: Rotating 8-12hr shifts / Nights and Weekends included
Pay: $16 - $18 per hour depending on experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Previous experience using a torch to cut in an industrialized setting strongly preferred.
- This job entails using a five foot long torch to cut large unprocessed metal down too three foot pieces.
- Conscientious, safety oriented work habits
- Evidence of a steady work history
- To work in a hot environment for long periods of time while wearing several layers of fire protective clothing and other Personal Protective Equipment “PPE” including hard hat, face shield, and leather gloves.
- Reliable transportation to get to and from work.
- Ability to work rotating 8 to 12 hr. shifts, Nights and Weekends included
