Electroplating Technician
Join Penn United Technologies as a Full-Time Electroplating Technician. You'll work alongside a skilled plating team to help set up and maintain electroplating operations, contributing to the production of high-quality products for our customers.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with the efficient setup and maintenance of the plating lines

Assist with plating and inspection of the parts

Assist with the preparation of parts for shipping

Interpret specifications, internal part prints used for part set-up and inspections, and job orders

Maintain a job tracking system

Help track and maintain chemical inventories used in the plating process

Perform visual inspection of all plated products, using a microscope

Study the production schedule and estimate the requirements for completing an order efficiently and effectively

Perform work procedures to meet schedules, using knowledge of capacities of the machines and equipment

Maintain accurate time and production records

Perform necessary housekeeping duties on the line
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent

Self-motivated, ability to work effectively under pressure and with a heavy work load

Able to make quick, effective and accurate decisions

Solid technical, mechanical and mathematical skills

Strong attention to detail

Must be able to lift 40 lbs.

Must be able to stand and walk throughout an 8 hour shift

Must be able to work weekly rotating shifts of daylight, afternoon and midnight shifts
