Trade Marketing Manager

Location: Monroe, CT (hybrid after 90 days)

Salary: $120,000.00-130,000.00

We are looking for a hands-on, seasoned and motivated Trade Marketing expert to join our team. The Trade Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing trade marketing plans across retail sales channels for the US and Canada.

Manager, Trade Marketing will be responsible for developing and executing the marketing plans for the for product lines aligned with the Global marketing strategy. They will create programs for sell-in and sell-through with a focus on profitable volume.

Deliverables include brand presentations, sales kits, visual merchandising solutions, training materials, promotions, incentives, prospecting, and Go-to-Market plans. The manager will collaborate with Product, Sales Planning, Finance, HQ counterparts, and other support functions to achieve the simultaneous goals of brand repositioning, sustained profitability and an increased sell-through at door level.

Desired Skills/Experience:

BA Degree in related field.
5 plus years marketing specifically in trade marketing
Ability to plan and manage at both strategic and operational levels.
Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a results-driven, team-oriented environment.
Strong strategic planning and analysis skills in sales, marketing, and business (competitive)strategy.
Strong sense of urgency and follow-through.
Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to executional excellence.
Willingness and ability to travel and to attend and conduct marketing presentations.

Primary Responsibilities:

Develop and execute on the North American trade marketing strategy.
Proven ability to develop and execute strategic trade marketing plans that drive category growth, sales performance, and profitability.
Partner with the sales team and be fully immersed in the sales strategy and process with the trade marketing strategy.
Customer-focused mindset with a passion for understanding shopper behavior and driving sell-through at retail.
Thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and demonstrates agility in responding to changing business priorities and market conditions.
Demonstrate and encourage teamwork and cooperation with members of the Marketing & Sales team and with other divisions.
Support the strategic planning including corporate positioning, market and competitive analysis, customer segment selection and related product positioning.
Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and dedication to delivering high-quality work with minimal supervision.
Oversight of the Category trade marketing budget for categories of responsibility.
Expand the consumer audiences and translate global persona to the North American market.
Highly organized and detail-oriented with exceptional project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
Experience managing product launches, go-to-market strategies, retail promotions, merchandising programs, sales tools, and training initiatives.
