Full Job Description

Tech Hospitality Inc, an IT consulting company located at Union Square, San Francisco, seeks an IT Technician to assist clients, and perform entry-level IT work. We pride ourselves in friendly, fun team-like working environment with significant opportunities for advancement and learning new skills. This job provides a lot of variety, and is never your typical ordinary day at the office. We are not a "break-fix" company. We completely manage IT environments of our clients, do a whole LOT of preventative maintenance to reduce any outages in the first place - therefore bringing more enjoyment to our careers and avoiding having to put-out constant fires.

Responsibilities:

- Provide Windows desktop, network and mobile devices support to clients via on-site visits, remotely, over the phone and resolve help-desk tickets

- Assist senior team members with implementing IT projects including (training provided):

Advanced networking including HP enterprise switches, VLAN's, Fortigate firewall appliances
Large-scale wireless networks - Ruckus and Aruba platforms
Windows Servers: Active Directory, DNS, Shared Drive
VMware ESXi private cloud servers
Backup systems
Office 365: Email, One Drive, Teams, workstations
Configuration of enterprise grade IP security camera VMS servers and cameras

Requirements:

- At least 1 year of tech support experience in the field is required

- Experience in customer service and have positive attitude toward helping clients

- Excellent verbal, organizational and follow-up skills, can-do attitude, detail oriented

- High level of expertise in PC hardware and Windows 10 operating system: installation, troubleshooting

- Familiarity with TCP/IP networking -- setting-up routers, switches, Wi-Fi access points

- Proficient in resolving hardware issues with PCs, Servers

- Experience with installing network printers and troubleshooting printing operation

- Ability to lift up to 40lb -- to set-up and move computer and server equipment

- Occasionally assist team members with server/network upgrade projects, on-site installations, equipment programming of: Wi-Fi access points, IP network surveillance cameras, VoIP phones

- Experience with Dropbox, Office 365, Kaseya VSA, ConnectWise Manage is a plus
