Full Job Description

Part Time Independent Contractor Position-Coverage area's vary, Chautauqua, Allegany, Cattaraugus, Genesee, Southern Erie, Wyoming, Monroe, Orleans County positions open.

As a Legal Document Process Server, you will be responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of legal documents, ensuring compliance with court regulations and procedures. Reporting to the Legal Operations Manager via email, your core skills in courier services and human interactions will be essential in executing this role effectively. You will utilize your premium skills in organization and communication to coordinate deliveries, while maintaining proper documentation via smart phone app. Ideal candidate will pay attention to detail, ability to documents details during attempts with clear communication while managing varying deadlines. Join our team to support the legal process and contribute to the smooth operation of our legal services. You will work independently and set your own schedule while ensuring due dates are achieved.

We are very open to candidates willing to learn. Experience is not required specifically as a process server and will evaluate prior experience in other roles as well as life experience. Willingness to take constructive criticism to learn the role is a must. Ideal candidate will have a willingness to learn, follow requirements. This is a more technical delivery as it is legal documents. Candidates must posses ability to communicate with strangers.

THIS IS AN INDEPENDENT CONRACTOR POSITION.

MUST HAVE

-Reliable transportation

-smart phone

-ability to print documents (scan ability preferred but not required). Laser printer or ink tank (not ink jet)

-over the age of 18 resident of the state of New York

-ability to follow instructions

-not afraid to knock on doors and ask questions

Attempts are normally needed on an evening after 6pm, morning and an afternoon. No work on Sunday's but Saturday attempts are needed on a case by case basis (or server's schedule to make the foregoing attempt time frames). You will set your own hours and complete jobs with due dates meeting requirements which will vary based on the job instructions provided to you.

Experience in process Service, legal or logistics is helpful.
