Full Job Description

Cleveland Based Amsdell Companies/Compass Self-Storage is a growing self-storage company. The Amsdell Companies bring over 90 years of experience to the construction and real estate fields. Today, it enjoys tremendous success as a premier full service, privately owned real estate company, specializing in the construction, development and management of business parks, industrial parks and related commercial real estate with a heavy focus of self-storage facilities. Accounts Payable Associate Responsibilities include:

Review, code, and process vendor invoices for payment, approximately 300 - 400 invoices per week
Scan invoices into TimberScan software for electronic approval
Assist with weekly check run, as well as manual checks, as needed
Identify, research, and resolve invoice discrepancies
Prepare account analysis
Processing cash and credit applications
Communicate with internal departments and external vendors
Data Entry
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

High school Diploma or equivalent required.
Preferred working knowledge of accounts payable processes.
Preferred 1 plus years of accounts payable experience
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel
Data Entry experience

Excellent organizational skills
Albility to prioritize and meet deadlines
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong verbal and written communications skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information
Strong customer servie skills when interacting with vendors and internal stakeholders
