Job Title: Business Analyst
Reports To: Director of Analytics Client Delivery

Role Purpose:
The Business Analyst will serve in a dual capacity as both a Business Analyst and Project Manager for our analytics implementations. This role is responsible for evaluating current business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and guiding projects through all phases — from initial planning through analysis, design, implementation, testing, release, and ongoing maintenance. In doing so, you will partner closely with customers, gaining a deep understanding of their needs and helping deliver measurable results through our analytics platform.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Analyze business processes and identify potential areas for improvement.
Gather and document requirements from customers, translating them into business cases, user stories, and technical requirements.
Design potential solutions to identify problems and map/analyze data to support recommendations.
Lead Agile data projects by managing project teams, scope, and budget to ensure timely, high-quality deliverables.
Develop comprehensive test cases and design/execute quality assurance for back- and front-end data systems.
Design and build business intelligence dashboards to generate insights and support decision-making.
Prepare and deliver reports, analyses, and recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.
Oversee the implementation of approved process improvements and act as a change agent to drive measurable improvements for customers.
Create user documentation and host training sessions for internal teams and customer end-users.
Manage the quality checks process and troubleshoot post-release issues in collaboration with the team and customers.
Identify data insights and communication opportunities for ongoing processes, product, and service enhancements.

Technical Competency: Proficient in designing dashboards, executing quality assurance for data systems, and applying best practices in business intelligence.
Change Leadership: Acts as a change agent to help organizations adopt improvements and realize measurable value.
Customer-Centric Mindset: Partners with clients and teams to ensure post-release support, issue resolution, and ongoing performance improvements.

Education/ Experience:

Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Analytics, or a related field; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum of 4 years as a Business Analyst (or similar role) working with data, databases, reporting, and project management.
Demonstrated success managing project scope, budget, and timelines.
Experience as a Project Manager or Project Lead on multiple active projects simultaneously in an Agile environment.
Business Intelligence and/or advanced reporting experience using Power BI
Experience in revenue cycle management with expertise in healthcare and/or behavioral health data.
Familiarity with Microsoft SSIS and Microsoft Azure Data Factory.
Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook and Teams in a fully remote environment.
Demonstrated critical thinking, reasoning, time management, and research skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working in an Agile software development environment.
Certification or prior experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Product Owner.
Strong knowledge of behavioral health and post-acute care industry data and workflows.

Physical Requirements:

Activities require a significant amount of sitting at office and work desks in front of a computer monitor.
Regularly required to verbally communicate, listen, and give presentations as needed.
