Join Our Culinary Team as a Sous Chef at Weller's Bistro!

Are you passionate about crafting exceptional dishes and bringing authentic flavors to life? At Weller's Bistro, we specialize in serving the heart and soul of German cuisine to the Ogden, UT community. From our tender goulash to our one-of-a-kind mushroom dishes, every plate we serve is a celebration of tradition, taste, and love. We're looking for a talented Sous Chef to join our team and help us continue to deliver the warm, welcoming experience our customers know and love.

What You'll Be Doing

As our Sous Chef, you'll play a vital role in our kitchen, working closely with our Head Chef to ensure every dish meets our high standards of quality and authenticity. Your responsibilities will include:

Assisting in the preparation and presentation of traditional German dishes.
Managing kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef.
Overseeing food preparation to ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to recipes.
Training and mentoring kitchen staff to maintain a high-performing team.
Monitoring inventory and assisting with ordering supplies as needed.
Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe kitchen environment.

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a skilled and passionate individual who can bring their expertise to our kitchen. To thrive in this role, you should have:

3 years of experience in a professional kitchen, preferably in a similar role.
A strong understanding of traditional German cuisine or a willingness to learn.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
The ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
A commitment to upholding food safety and sanitation standards.
