Finance Lead – Repower

Zephyr Repower

Hourly Rate: $25-$28

Build the Financial Foundation Behind Wind Energy Projects

Zephyr Repower is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Finance Lead to support the financial operations behind our wind energy repower projects.

This is a hands-on finance and accounting role for someone who enjoys keeping projects organized, transactions accurate, and information moving between teams. You'll work across accounts payable, customer billing, job transactions, purchase orders, accruals, reconciliations, and other project-related financial activities while partnering with vendors, customers, operations, and internal finance teams.

If you're organized, comfortable working in an ERP system, and enjoy solving problems in a fast-moving project environment, this could be a strong next step in your finance career.

What You'll Do

As the Finance Lead, you will:

Enter and maintain financial and operational transactions in Traverse ERP, including purchase orders, new vendor setup, job transactions, customer sales orders, billing, intercompany transactions, and inventory transactions.
Process accounts payable invoices accurately and within established timelines.
Support accurate project accounting by monitoring and recording expense accruals.
Prepare and process customer invoices and project-related billing.
Work directly with vendors and customers to answer questions, research discrepancies, and resolve issues.
Assist with account reconciliations, payment schedules, collections, and other accounting activities.
Support internal and external audit requests by gathering accurate documentation and financial information.
Coordinate with accounting, finance, operations, and other departments to keep project-related financial activity accurate and up to date.
Identify discrepancies and use sound judgment and problem-solving skills to help resolve financial and transactional issues.
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when working with sensitive financial and business information.
Manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who brings:

2+ years of experience in accounting, finance, project accounting, accounts payable/receivable, or a similar role.
Experience working with an ERP or accounting system; Traverse experience is a plus.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and other Microsoft Office applications.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to communicate professionally with vendors, customers, and internal teams.
Ability to prioritize responsibilities and meet established deadlines.
Sound judgment and discretion when handling confidential information.
Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is preferred.
Relevant professional experience may also be considered.
