Job Description

An Oklahoma–licensed attorney responsible for high‑volume mass tort document review, including analysis, issue‑spotting, and coding of litigation materials in large, multi‑district or consolidated actions. This role supports case teams by ensuring accurate classification of documents, identifying privileged communications, and contributing to overall litigation strategy.

Core Responsibilities

Document Review: Examine and code documents for relevance, responsiveness, confidentiality, and privilege within mass tort matters involving pharmaceuticals, medical devices, environmental exposure, consumer products, or toxic torts.
Privilege Analysis: Identify attorney–client communications, work product, and sensitive materials requiring redaction or special handling.
Issue Spotting: Flag key facts, patterns, and case‑critical themes to assist senior litigators in developing case theories.
Quality Control: Perform second‑level review, accuracy checks, and consistency audits across large reviewer teams.
E‑Discovery Platforms: Utilize tools such as Relativity, Everlaw, DISCO, or Reveal to manage document sets, apply coding protocols, and run searches.
Protocol Compliance: Follow detailed review guidelines, privilege logs, and coding manuals established by lead counsel or e‑discovery managers.
Team Collaboration: Coordinate with project managers, litigation associates, and co‑counsel to ensure alignment on review strategy and deadlines.

Required Qualifications

Active bar license in Oklahoma (in good standing).
Resident of Oklahoma
Experience with mass tort, MDL, or complex litigation preferred.
Proficiency with e‑discovery review platforms and large‑scale data sets.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.
Familiarity with federal civil procedure, product liability, and discovery rules.

Preferred Skills

Prior work on pharma/medical device mass torts.
Experience with technology‑assisted review (TAR) or predictive coding.
Ability to interpret scientific, medical, or technical documents.
Strong written communication for drafting summaries and privilege notes.

Pay: $70,000.00 per year

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Oklahoma City, OK 73102
