Position: Senior Project Manager
Reports To: Director of Project Management

As a Senior Project Manager, you will oversee, plan, and coordinate all activities related to office furniture projects. This role plays a key part in ensuring that project goals are met on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction. This position requires approximately 50% travel to client sites, project locations, and vendor meetings.

Key Responsibilities

Review project proposals and plans to determine timelines, procedures, and resource allocation.
Develop work plans for each project phase and coordinate scheduling of installation teams and deliveries in collaboration with the Installation Manager and Production Coordinator.
Coordinate tasks with vendors and trades, including electricians, data cabling providers, and installation companies.
Facilitate accurate and timely information flow to the production department.
Attend meetings with clients and vendors to ensure clarity of furniture plans.
Create floor plans, design concepts, and CAD drawings.
Confirm inventory levels and ensure timely purchasing of all products for upcoming projects.
Prepare and review job quotes with customers.
Provide furniture, design, and space-planning solutions and alternatives when needed.
Conduct initial site evaluations and determine any special instructions.
Communicate effectively with Project Coordinators to develop valid sales orders and outline responsibilities.
Deliver exceptional customer service throughout the project lifecycle to enhance overall satisfaction.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree required.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a Project Manager role.
Office furniture industry experience required.
AutoCAD proficiency required.
Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with clients, design firms, and all levels of the organization.
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Strong computer skills, including advanced Excel proficiency, and exceptional attention to detail.

Physical Requirements

Ability to travel up to 50% of the time, including local and regional travel to client sites, project locations, and vendor facilities.
Prolonged periods of sitting, standing, and walking, including active movement on job sites.
Ability to lift and carry materials or product samples up to 25–30 pounds occasionally.
Visual acuity to review design plans, drawings, and project specifications.
Ability to navigate active construction and installation environments safely.
