Full Job Description

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Cosmetology Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for educating and inspiring students in various aspects of cosmetology, including hair cutting, coloring, and styling, makeup application, nail care, and skincare treatments. This role requires a strong commitment to student success and the ability to create an engaging learning environment that fosters skill development and creativity.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
Teach a variety of subjects including hair styling, makeup application, nail care, hair extensions, and body waxing.
Provide hands-on training and demonstrations to students in both classroom and practical settings.
Assess student performance through evaluations and provide constructive feedback to promote improvement.
Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to ensure students receive current information.
Mentor students in professional development and prepare them for state licensing exams.
Collaborate with faculty members to enhance the overall educational experience.

Experience

Proven experience in the cosmetology field with expertise in areas such as hair styling, hair coloring, makeup application, nail care, hair extensions, body waxing, skincare treatments, anatomy knowledge, and classroom instruction.
A valid cosmetology license and cosmetology instructor license is required. Cosmetology Instructor program is available for qualified candidates.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage and motivate students effectively.
Previous teaching or training experience is highly desirable but not mandatory.
