Housekeeping Room Attendant

Position Title: Housekeeping Room Attendant

Job Summary:
The Housekeeping Room Attendant is responsible for maintaining clean, sanitary, comfortable, and welcoming guest rooms and public areas. This position ensures that all assigned rooms meet hotel cleanliness and quality standards while providing excellent guest service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Clean and service assigned guest rooms according to company standards.
Make beds, change linens, and replace towels and amenities.
Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and dust furniture and fixtures.
Clean bathrooms, including sinks, toilets, showers, and mirrors.
Replenish guest supplies such as toiletries, coffee, and linens.
Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, and damaged property to supervisors.
Follow proper procedures for handling lost and found items.
Maintain housekeeping carts and storage areas in a clean and organized manner.
Respond to guest requests promptly and professionally.
Adhere to company safety, sanitation, and security policies.

Qualifications:

Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
Good communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
