Overview

Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), where your expertise will directly impact patient care and well-being. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work across diverse clinical settings, including acute care, long-term care, outpatient clinics, and community health environments. You will be at the forefront of delivering compassionate, high-quality nursing services, utilizing advanced skills in medical procedures, patient assessment, and health education. Duties

Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and detailed medical histories to inform care plans.
Administer medications and injections accurately following established protocols, including IV infusions and aseptic techniques.
Utilize Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner to document patient information meticulously and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Provide specialized nursing care in areas such as ophthalmology, geriatrics, behavioral health, or trauma medicine, including wound suturing and ostomy care.
Assist with diagnostic procedures like catheterization, tube feeding management, laboratory specimen collection/processing, and radiology preparations such as sonography or mammography.
Manage acute pain and critical conditions in emergency room or ICU settings by applying advanced critical care techniques and trauma medicine protocols.
Educate patients and families on health management strategies including chronic disease management, hospice & palliative care options, and medication administration.

Requirements

Valid RN or LPN license in good standing with the state licensing board.
Proven experience working with diverse patient populations across settings such as hospital medicine, outpatient clinics, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home care environments.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10), and medical documentation standards.
Competency in EMR/EHR systems like Epic, Cerner or Athenahealth for accurate record keeping and patient data management.
Experience with specialized procedures including IV insertion, venipuncture (phlebotomy), catheter care/catheterization, ventilator management, and aseptic techniques.
Critical care experience preferred—especially ICU or Level I/II trauma center backgrounds—along with familiarity in infectious disease care and emergency response procedures.
Ability to work effectively in fast-paced environments such as urgent care centers or hospital emergency rooms while maintaining attention to detail and patient safety.
Excellent communication skills for triage assessments, patient education, case management coordination, and interdisciplinary collaboration.
