FAST PACED, GROWING PRACTICE LOOKING SEEKING OPTOMETRIC TECHNICIAN FOR PRETESTING

GREAT OPPORTUNITY! We are an upscale multi-doctor private practice that offers our patients the best level of customer service in the Inland Empire. With state-of-the-art equipment, we are very proud of our reputation in the industry and looking for an Optometric Technician to join our growing team.

Are you ready to work in an environment that is fast-paced, forward thinking, and customer service oriented? We invite you to apply for an OPTOMETRIC TECHNICIAN position with us.

Patient pre-testing, post-testing, optos (retinal imaging), visual field, topography, OCT / High quality patient care
Explain to the patient the types of preliminary exam testing / Able to give instruction in a clear and concise manner
Understand ocular terminology and diseases and know the ocular abbreviations
Ensure equipment, both Doctors and pre-test, is properly sanitized and maintained
Experience with electronic health records / Compulink program knowledge helpful
Proficient computer and internet skills / Verify patient insurance benefits
Familiar with various Medical and Vision insurances, including co-pays and deductibles
Must have strong communication and pleasant customer service skills
Experience with answering phones, scheduling appointments, greeting patients
Consult with opticians and Doctor / Cross-train to assist with other office duties
High level of accuracy and be able to work independently
Personable, professional, presentable and detail oriented / Organized and have superior time management
Minimum 1 year of experience desired / Hourly rate commensurate to level of experience
No experience? willing to train if you are eager and have a desire to learn
***MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK SATURDAYS. Please do not apply if unavailable Saturdays.
