Full Job Description

Overview

Join our family operated accounting office as a Receptionist, where your energetic and organized approach will be the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and team members. In this vital role, you will manage front desk operations, handle multi-line phone systems with professionalism, and support administrative functions that keep our office running smoothly. Your positive attitude and strong communication skills will help create a welcoming environment and ensure efficient office management. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your clerical and customer service expertise within a medium-paced financial setting. This is a supportive role to in office accountants so you will be trained on data entry too.

Responsibilities

Greet visitors and clients warmly, ensuring a professional and friendly first impression
Answer and direct incoming calls using multi-line phone systems with excellent phone etiquette
Manage front desk duties including mail distribution, appointment scheduling, and visitor sign-in procedures
Assist with clerical tasks like data entry in QuickBooks, word processing, document filing and maintaining office supplies
Collect client payments over the phone and in person

Requirements

Strong computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer skills
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a busy environment
Demonstrated experience in phone answering, multi-line phone systems, and phone reception etiquette
Clerical experience including typing, proofreading, calendar management, and document handling
Ability to manage time effectively while supporting multiple administrative tasks simultaneously

Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
