Full Job Description

Position Summary

The Corporate Activities & Memory Care Specialist supports the Life Enrichment & Memory Care department by providing training, operational support, quality assurance, community support and departmental representation for communities across the organization. This position helps ensure consistency in resident engagement, programming, documentation, and communication by serving as a primary resource for Life Enrichment Directors and Lantern Program Directors. Approximately 60% travel is required. This is an in-office position based in Ooltewah, TN.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation, Recreation, Gerontology, Healthcare Administration, Education, Social Work, or a related field preferred.
Minimum of three years of experience in senior living. Memory care experience required.
Experience facilitating and presenting training for adult learners.
Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including public speaking and presentation experience.
Proficiency with technology and the ability to learn, administer, and train others on software platforms, including LifeLoop and Microsoft Office applications.
Ability to analyze data, monitor compliance, and provide coaching to improve program quality and operational consistency.
Ability to travel approximately 60% of the time, including overnight travel, and maintain a valid driver's license.
Demonstrated ability to build collaborative relationships with community leaders, associates, families, and external partners while representing Morning Pointe professionally.
Experience supporting multiple locations.

Essential Functions

Conducts reviews of community calendars, newsletters, activity boxes, and resident engagement practices for compliance with company standards.
Assists communities with implementing action plans resulting from operational reviews, surveys, SEC results, and quality initiatives.
Serves as a corporate LifeLoop administrator by providing onboarding, training, technical support, troubleshooting, and maintenance of LifeLoop resources to promote consistent utilization across all communities.
Leads monthly educational and information calls for Life Enrichment Directors and Lantern Program Directors.
Facilitates orientation and onboarding for new Activities Professionals as assigned.
Develops monthly programming ideas, seasonal resources, supply lists, activity toolkits, and engagement materials.
Maintains the department's library of programming resources, templates, and educational materials.
Assists with company-wide initiatives, competitions, campaigns, and special projects.
Serves as a resource and consultant to Life Enrichment Directors and Lantern Program Directors.
Delivers in-person training of Morning Pointe standards and practices.
Identifies opportunities for improvement during community visits and provides immediate feedback, coaching, and follow-up to ensure compliance with Morning Pointe standards.
Delivers presentations, training, and educational sessions for associates, families, healthcare professionals, referral partners, and community organizations as assigned. (internal facing).
Represents Morning Pointe at community events, support groups, professional meetings, and outreach opportunities. (external facing).
Perform other duties as assigned.
