Full Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to provide direct and indirect patient care. You will be an integral part of the clinic's success. You will be responsible for evaluating and treating, managing acute health problems using evidence-based protocols, and creating and implementing appropriate treatment plans under the supervising physician. Ability to serve a panel of patients, providing virtual acute care and medical expertise with appropriate follow-up
Provide pharmacological treatment, including prescribing medications through electronic prescribing systems
Refer patients to specialty care with an emphasis on appropriateness and value
Follow up on labs, imaging, and closed-loop communication with other providers as needed

Minimum Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited NP or PA program
Active Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant license in Tennessee
Prescriptive authority
Minimum of 1 year of relevant clinical experience
BLS certification
Willingness to work 2x 12-hour shifts every Saturday and Sunday (Example shifts: 7a-7p or 11a-11p ET)
Ability to type at 65 words per minute (preferred)
DEA license (preferred)
Multi-state licensure (preferred)
Experience in a fast-paced urgent care or acute care environment (preferred)

REQUIRED SKILLS/ KNOWLEDGE

Comfort and confidence in engaging with senior stakeholders, including both client and One to One leadership and members of the interdisciplinary team

A self-starter, energized by dynamic operations and a willingness to tackle a wide range of challenges
The desire and ability to lead with compassion.
Ability to read, write, and communicate the English language.
Strong computer literacy and typing skills.
Able to easily navigate applicable technology.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing
Ability to follow written step-by-step instructions
Ability to concentrate, think, and learn
Ability to hear, see, sit, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, lift, push, and pull.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE

Successful completion of an accredited NP or PA program according to Tennessee State Law
License and Certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse or Physician Assistant in the State of Tennessee
Prescriptive authorization
Two years of relevant clinical experience
BLS/ACLS
DEA
Certified DOT examiner preferred
