Office & Client Relationship Manager

Are you looking for a stable, long-term job with variety — where no two days are the same and clients know you by name? We’re a warm, established, family-run business in Nederland looking for a dependable, people-loving manager to become the welcoming face our clients know and trust. Our last manager was with us for 18 years — that’s the kind of lasting home we’re offering, and we’re hoping to find someone who wants to put down roots and grow with us for the long haul.

About the Role

You’ll help run the day-to-day of two established local businesses that share one location — a tax practice and a luxury hair extension and wig store, where we sell hair extensions and wigs (we’re a retail store, not a salon). Part of what sets us apart is that we customize the wigs we sell — coloring, cutting, and styling our wigs to make them unique and appealing — and part of this role is learning to do that (we’ll train you). You’ll also help customers find hair they love, grow the business by creating social media content that shows off our work, be the friendly face people look forward to seeing, keep operations running smoothly, and support a small, close-knit team. It’s a varied role — a little of everything — so no two days are the same, and we’ll train you on whatever you don’t already know.

What You’ll Do

Customize the wigs we sell — coloring, cutting, and styling our factory wigs to make them unique and appealing (we will train you).
Help customers find and buy the right hair extensions and wigs, and give them a great experience.
Create and post engaging social media content (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok) to show off our work and bring in new clients.
Greet and build genuine relationships with clients — be the face they ask for by name.
Keep daily operations running: scheduling, records, customer follow-up, and inventory.
Support the team and help keep service at a 5-star standard.
Help the practice run smoothly through the busy tax season (January–April).
Take ownership of problems and solve them — so the owner can focus on growth.

Who We’re Looking For

Warm and personable — you genuinely enjoy people, and it shows.
Happy to learn to customize our wigs — coloring, cutting, and styling them (we’ll train you) — and enjoy helping customers find hair they love.
Social-media savvy — comfortable creating posts and content (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok), or eager to learn.
Dependable and hardworking — you show up, follow through, and finish the job.
Trustworthy — comfortable being trusted with clients, money, and confidential information.
A self-starter — you take initiative without waiting to be told.
Eager to learn — we will train the skills; you bring the attitude.
Calm and organized under pressure, especially during our busy season.
Looking to put down roots — a long-term home, not a stepping stone to another career.

Experience

Customer-service experience is a plus. Tax, bookkeeping, or retail experience is helpful but NOT required — we will train the right person. What matters most is a willingness to learn every part of the role, and comfort with basic computer software is a plus. No cosmetology license needed. [Bilingual English/Spanish a plus — remove if not needed.]
