Content Editor & Communications Manager
1099 Independent Contractor | Hybrid (2–3 Days In-Office, Irvine, CA HQ + Remote)
About the opportunity
T7X is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Content Editor & Communications Manager to support our growing ecosystem as an independent contractor. This hybrid role offers the flexibility to work remotely while collaborating with our leadership team in our Irvine headquarters 2–3 days per week for planning sessions, content reviews, and strategic initiatives.
The ideal candidate is an exceptional writer and editor with experience managing content across multiple channels and is comfortable translating complex technical concepts into clear, engaging communications. Familiarity with blockchain, digital assets, Web3, or financial technology is highly preferred.
Scope of Work
The contractor will support written communications across the T7X ecosystem, including:
- Blogs and educational content covering Real-World Assets (RWAs), tokenization, and blockchain technology
- Press releases and media announcements
- Newsletters and product communications
- Event recaps and partnership announcements
- Long-form thought leadership articles
- Social media copy and supporting communications
- Publishing and distribution using Mailchimp, HubSpot, or similar marketing platforms
Responsibilities:
Content Writing & Editorial Management
- Write and edit high-quality educational and marketing content related to blockchain, RWAs, and emerging technologies.
- Develop press releases, executive communications, and public announcements.
- Translate technical concepts into clear, accessible content for diverse audiences.
- Maintain editorial quality, consistency, and brand voice across all communications.
Newsletter & Email Communications
- Create, edit, and distribute newsletters and email campaigns.
- Manage email layouts, audience segmentation, calls-to-action, and performance reporting.
- Maintain weekly and monthly editorial calendars.
Publishing & Content Management
- Format and publish content across digital platforms.
- Coordinate with graphic designers and marketing team members to ensure polished deliverables.
- Monitor content performance and recommend improvements based on analytics.
Brand & Communications
- Ensure messaging aligns with T7X's compliance-first and professional brand standards.
- Develop communications supporting conferences, events, partnerships, and ecosystem initiatives.
- Assist with executive messaging and strategic announcements.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Collaborate with leadership on product launches and corporate communications.
- Support marketing campaigns and social media initiatives.
- Provide editorial support to ecosystem partners when needed.
Qualfications
Required
- Minimum of 3 years of professional writing, editing, or communications experience.
- Exceptional written English, editing skills, and attention to detail.
- Experience with email marketing platforms such as Mailchimp, HubSpot, or similar tools.
- Ability to attend in-person meetings at the Irvine headquarters 2–3 days per week while working the remainder of the week remotely.
- Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
Preferred
- Experience with blockchain, cryptocurrency, Web3, fintech, or digital assets.
- Background in regulated industries such as finance, healthcare, or technology.
- Knowledge of SEO best practices.
- Experience with PR distribution platforms.
- Event marketing and conference communications experience.
Contractor Engagement
- Classification: 1099 Independent Contractor
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid (approximately 2–3 days per week in Irvine, CA and the remainder remote)
- Schedule: Flexible, project-driven hours with regular collaboration during standard business hours as needed.
- Compensation: Competitive contract rate, based on experience and qualifications.
- Term: Ongoing contract with opportunity for long-term engagement based on performance and business needs.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
