Must Haves:

3-5+ years of legal assistant experience, preferably in IP or patent prosecution
Proficiency in Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office, and case management software

Your New Role:

This distinguished Portland law firm has gained a reputation for excellence and superior service through representation of some of our region’s most innovative inventors and employers. Join their growing team as their newest Patent Prosecution Legal Assistant.

In this role, you’ll provide dedicated support to attorneys and patent agents. Day-to-day, you’ll navigate client requests, track and monitor dockets and deadlines, conduct research, and draft various legal correspondence for attorneys, clients, and foreign associates. Additionally, you’ll enter attorney time and review invoices.

This position requires major initiative, consistent follow-through, and a keen eye for detail. Any experience in biotech patent prosecution is a major plus!

After an in-office training period, you’ll have a hybrid schedule.
