As the Imaging Manager, you'll lead the daily operations of our advanced diagnostic imaging service, partnering with veterinarians, radiologists, and hospital leadership to deliver exceptional patient care through MRI, CT, ultrasound, radiology, and digital cytology.
This is more than a technical leadership role. You'll mentor imaging professionals, elevate clinical standards, optimize patient flow, and help create an environment where both patients and team members thrive.
You'll work closely with the Hospital Manager, Practice Site DVMs, Imaging Director, and Operations Leadership to ensure outstanding imaging quality, operational excellence, and an exceptional experience for referring veterinarians and their patients.
Because advanced imaging often requires anesthesia, you'll also play a critical role in ensuring safe anesthetic care, procedural excellence, and adherence to clinical best practices. Most importantly, you'll help foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, continuous learning, and compassionate patient care.

Oversee the readiness, maintenance, and performance of advanced imaging equipment.

Coordinate preventative maintenance and equipment service.

Monitor imaging supplies and operational readiness.

Build relationships with referring veterinarians and specialty partners.

Participate in educational programs and referral outreach initiatives.

Help identify opportunities to enhance the client experience and grow imaging services.

Collaborate with the Hospital Manager, Practice Site DVMs, Imaging Director, and Operations Leadership to achieve operational goals.

Contribute to workflow improvements, KPI initiatives, and organizational growth.

Support new services and cross-site collaboration across Sage Veterinary Imaging.

As needed, you'll continue to work alongside the clinical team by performing advanced imaging procedures, administering anesthesia, assisting with patient care, and ensuring patients receive exceptional care throughout every stage of the imaging process.

Licensed or Registered Veterinary Technician (LVT, RVT, CVT) or equivalent credential, where applicable.

Three or more years of experience in veterinary medicine.

Previous experience leading, supervising, or mentoring clinical team members.

Experience performing advanced diagnostic imaging procedures.

Proficiency in veterinary anesthesia, or the ability and willingness to develop advanced proficiency through training.

Working knowledge of CT, MRI, radiography, ultrasound, and advanced imaging workflows.

Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.

A collaborative leadership style with a commitment to exceptional patient care, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Experience in a specialty referral or advanced diagnostic imaging practice.
