Full Job Description

Job Duties, Skills & Characteristics

This position serves as the company liaison with outside professional firms that handle the company’s AR/AP activities and payroll. This position will assist in analyzing data to help present information for decision making. Tasks will also include other accounting projects assigned by the Sr VP of Finance. This position is also responsible for overall front office activities, including office purchases. The position also acts as the benefits representative.

Your employment will be part-time and “at-will.” As an at-will employee you may resign your employment at any time without notice and Sundance Group, LLC may terminate your employment at any time with or without cause and with or without notice.

DUTIES OF EMPLOYEE (shall include but not be limited to)

Help outside professional firm with AR billings, AP posting, including credit card coding.
May help in payroll processing, including compiling hours, tracking and submitting deductions, such as 401(k) and cafeteria plan.
Assist in compilation and analysis of financial data, including monthly reports and closings.
Assist with compiling of information for tax accountants
Research credit card disputes.
Files sales taxes as needed
Coordinate with vendors on billing and other accounting issues.
Administer and maintain company benefits program for employees, in connection with insurance broker as appropriate.
Function as liaison between vendors and employees.
Advise employees on eligibility, coverage, and other benefit matters.
Manages the reception area to ensure effective telephone and mail communications both internally and externally.
Negotiates the purchase of office supplies and equipment for the entire staff in accordance with company policies and budgets.
Tracks and monitors liability and property insurance coverage and claims.

SKILLS AND KEY CHARACTERISTICS:

Excellent skills in Microsoft Office, with particular expertise with Excel, including proficiency in formulas and data manipulation.
Proficient with QuickBooks
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, including managing multiple tasks under pressure with changing priorities.
Clear and effective communicator.
Interacts in a cooperative and professional manner with a commitment to creating a positive culture throughout the organization.
Demonstrated ability to be proactive, self-motivated, and self-directed.
Demonstrated organizational skills with attention to detail.
Able to work in the office during business hours and a regular schedule. There may be a need to work a flexible schedule, whenever reasonably required,
Keeps information confidential as directed in the confidentiality agreement.

Education and Experience

Associate degree or equivalent education; or four to five years related experience or training.

Physical Requirements

This position is physically demanding. To successfully perform the essential functions of this job, the employee must be able to regularly walk, stand, bend, kneel, lift, stretch, and twist. Employee must be able to lift or move more than 25 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Schedule

Day shift generally 4-5 hours per day Monday–Friday during regular business hours 8 am – 5 pm. Flexibility is required dependent upon Employer’s need.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
