Job Description:
Develops plans to achieve top decile performance in quality, outcomes, and cost.
Manages functional budget responsibility for Institute cost centers.
Performs periodic cost and productivity analyses.
Designs, establishes, and maintains an organizational structure and staffing.
Attracts, develops, and retains high-performing personnel.
Provides leadership in developing and executing strategic plans for high-value healthcare.
Collaborates with clinical and physician leadership to improve clinical performance.
Oversees national clinical registries, quality and safety metrics, and regulatory compliance.
Ensures compliance with federal, state, and national guidelines.
Consults across the enterprise to standardize care delivery and improve clinical outcomes.
Directs the integration of quality, outcomes, and cost improvement efforts.
Leads the development and implementation of care transformation initiatives.
Performs other duties as assigned.

Advanced knowledge of CMS, DNV and State Regulatory requirements for specialty clinical programs [Preferred]
Knowledge of clinical registries, such as but not limited to: American College of Cardiology (ACC) National Cardiovascular Data Registry (NCDR), American College of Surgeons (ACoS) National Surgical Quality Improvement Program (NSQIP), Get with the Guidelines (GWTG), and Society of Thoracic Surgeons (STS) Database, National Cancer Database (NCDB), American Joint Replacement Registry (AJRR) or National Neurosurgery Quality Outcomes Database (N2QOD) [Preferred]
Quality improvement knowledge include but not limited to CMS outcomes, Value Based Purchasing, Bundle Payment, NHSN Outcomes and other quality improvement initiatives [Preferred]
Experience with national clinical registries and outcomes management [Preferred]
Experience working in large healthcare systems in specialty service lines such as: cardiovascular, neurosurgery, oncology, general surgery or critical care areas [Preferred]
Experience working in population health or care management settings [Preferred]
Experience working within a health insurance plan or value-based contracting [Preferred]
Education:

2+ years of broad experience in quality, process improvement or project management [Required]
8+ years progressive leadership experience in healthcare [Required]
