Senior Accountant

Compensation: $70,000–$90,000
Location: Orlando, FL (Onsite)

Our client, a well-established and highly regarded law firm, is seeking a Senior Accountant to manage the firm's day-to-day accounting operations. Key Responsibilities

Manage the firm's daily accounting operations while ensuring accuracy and efficiency across all financial functions

Prepare monthly financial statements, management reports, account reconciliations, and financial analyses

Oversee month-end and year-end close activities

Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, client billing, cash management, and general ledger accounting

Support payroll processing and related accounting responsibilities

Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and ongoing financial reporting

Ensure compliance with established accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls

Maintain accurate financial records and assist with annual audits and tax preparation

Perform trust accounting and trust account reconciliations in accordance with legal industry guidelines

Support special accounting projects and process improvement initiatives as needed

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required

Minimum of three years of progressive accounting experience

Experience managing the full accounting cycle, including general ledger, financial reporting, AP, AR, reconciliations, and month-end close

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, financial reporting, and data analysis

Previous experience in a law firm or other professional services environment is highly preferred

Trust accounting experience is strongly preferred

Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting requirements

Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities

Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship
