Full Job Description

OBJECTIVE/MISSION: Assist Whitco Project Managers Manage the quality, safety, productivity and profitability of all phases of the construction process for all assigned projects, interfacing with all parties to insure the highest standards are achieved.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Coordinate Service Division staff (Superintendents, subcontractors, production technicians, sheet metal technicians, etc) on assigned projects to insure efficiency and overall functionality.

2. Assist Project Managers with ordering of materials, and equipment for various projects.

3. Issue and track PO numbers for purchases on all assigned projects.

4. Request sheet metal fabrication from Metal Shop Manager to insure timely fabrication.

5. Send Production Manager weekly amounts to bill clients on all assigned projects.

6. Communicate a tentative start date for each project to the client via e-mail (

7. Work with Project Management, Safety Director and Superintendents to insure safe, OSHA compliant job sites on all assigned projects.

8. Monitor and collect all job clock information and time sheets for the Service Department. Verify adherence to Lunch Break Policy for Hourly Employees and deduct hours if needed.

9. Provide daily job assignments to Foreman and Roof Technicians on assigned projects.

10. Train and mentor Superintendents and other team members as needed.

11. Understand product specifications, project scope of work and proper installation procedures on all assigned projects.

12. Complete and send OPM reports to clients.

13. Coordinate and process all manufacturers’ inspections and warranty documents for assigned projects.

14. Maintain positive attitude and appropriate attire. Clean Whitco Roofing collared polo or dress shirt, and slacks (no jeans).

15. Personally attend and verify your Superintendents attend required training sessions and safety meetings.

16. Read Whitco Roofing Employment Manual and adhere to all its policies and procedures.

17. Adhere to Whitco Roofing standard operating procedures. Complete other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION SKILLS

· Must be bilingual.

· Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Proficiency with MS Office Suite

· Ability to Identify and prioritize important tasks independently

· Extensive knowledge of the industry’s legal rules and guidelines

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

· High School/GED

· Worked within a Project Management team

· Must be competent and able to plan many different operational activities

· Roofing experience a plus
