Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Paralegal to join our dynamic legal team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive legal support across a variety of practice areas, including estate planning, environmental law, family law, civil litigation, and more. Your expertise in legal research, document management, and case support will help ensure the smooth operation of our legal processes. Duties

Assist attorneys with case preparation by conducting legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, and other legal research tools
Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, contracts, memos, and correspondence with precision and clarity
Manage case files using document management systems like iManage and PCLaw to ensure organized and accessible records
Support client communication through professional phone etiquette and timely updates on case progress
Conduct interviews with clients, witnesses, or experts to gather relevant information for ongoing cases
Review and analyze documents for procedural compliance and accuracy in civil litigation support
Handle confidential information with the utmost discretion while maintaining strict adherence to privacy standards

Requirements

Proven paralegal experience with a strong background in legal support functions across multiple practice areas including estate planning, environmental law, family law, securities law, tribal law & regulations, patent law, workers' compensation law, personal injury law, and general & commercial litigation
Proficiency in legal research platforms such as Westlaw and LexisNexis; familiarity with legal case management software like iManage and PCLaw is highly desirable
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously while maintaining accuracy
Strong writing skills for drafting legal documents and correspondence that are clear, concise, and professional
Experience with document review, data entry, filing procedures, and electronic discovery processes
Knowledge of procedural law requirements across various jurisdictions to support litigation activities effectively
Ability to handle confidential information responsibly while demonstrating excellent attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) along with familiarity with document management systems
Effective communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration
Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough legal research and produce well-organized reports or summaries
