Company Overview
Aspire Health Partners, Inc. (Aspire), is a non-profit 501(c)3 behavioral healthcare organization. Aspire Health Partners is Florida’s largest Behavioral Health Non-Profit that provides a full continuum of behavioral healthcare services across six (6) Central Florida Counties; Brevard, Hillsborough, Lake, Orange, Osceola and Seminole.

Aspire has multiple campuses throughout these counties that provide services for children, adolescents, adults and seniors.

As a Registered Nurse at Aspire Health Partners, your primary responsibility is to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care for patients with psychiatric, substance use, and primary care needs while supporting the operations of Aspire programs, as assigned, including the Mobile Medical Unit. The RN plays a vital leadership role within the interdisciplinary team, providing direct patient care, supporting clinical decision-making, and ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant service delivery. This position requires flexibility, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a dynamic care environment.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Completing screenings and assessments associated with intake, continued stay, and discharge.
Perform duties to observe, assess, treat, and document tasks related to routine medical issues, patient intake/follow-up/discharge visits, prescription medication orders/transcribing/administrating/dosing procedures/injection administration, vitals, blood draws/labs/lab send-outs, drug screens/breathalyzers, other medical testing, patient behavior, and other related issues.
Provide testing, vaccinations, education, and referrals, as appropriate, for Hepatitis and other medical issues
Assisting medical providers with intakes, follow-up visits, and discharge appointments, as well as crisis events
Supporting LPNs and medical support staff in their assigned duties
Completing all required documentation within the EHR associated with service delivery and billing in accordance with AHP and program standards.
Ensuring the proper disposal of bio-hazardous material
Providing knowledge of medications and side effects
May perform some administrative functions, including registration, financial, insurance verification and pre-authorization, and case management functions
Attend and participate in a variety of meetings and staffings to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems, and maintain specific level of knowledge pertaining to new developments, requirements, and policies.
All functions must be completed while maintaining high standards of ethical and professional conduct while adhering to agency policies and procedures
Assisting medical providers with transcriptions and implementation of orders and maintaining compliance by completing the necessary trainings
Serve as the on-site clinical and operational lead for the mobile medical unit, directing workflows, delegating tasks, and providing supervision to assigned staff in alignment with scope of practice.
Oversee the daily operations of the mobile medical unit, ensuring readiness, efficiency, and compliance with all organizational, clinical, and regulatory standards and protocols.
Oversee and execute pre-, during-, and post-operation procedures, including inventory verification, equipment checks, service area setup/breakdown, and completion of required logs, inspections, and documentation.
Ensure readiness and proper functioning of all clinical and emergency equipment, including AED, oxygen, NARCAN, and medical supplies prior to deployment.
Maintain full accountability for medication management and chain of custody, including secure transport, storage, transfer to patient, administration, documentation, and return to pharmacy per protocol.
Lead mobile-based clinical workflows, including induction, psychiatric evaluations, continued care visits, and MAT services in coordination with onsite and telehealth providers.
Conduct and/or oversee nursing assessments, pre-visit workups, and telehealth facilitation, ensuring patients are continuously monitored and never left unattended on the unit.
Coordinate and manage service delivery and patient flow, working closely with care managers to support engagement, enrollment, scheduling, follow-up care, medication access, and return visits.
Ensure compliance with infection control, safety standards, and biohazard/sharps disposal within the mobile care environment.
Collaborate closely with the vehicle operator to ensure safe transport, proper equipment stowage, vehicle readiness, and adherence to safety protocols, including routine maintenance and inspections.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and respond to real-time operational, clinical, and environmental issues, ensuring continuity of care in a field-based setting.
Ensure accurate and timely documentation of all services delivered, including reconciliation for billing, reporting requirements, and regulatory compliance.
Support data tracking, service logs, and reporting, including mobile unit utilization, patient outcomes, and service trends to inform program performance and quality improvement.
Establish and maintain effective working relationships with community partners, host sites, and stakeholders, supporting outreach, engagement, and service delivery.
Support outreach and engagement efforts, including patient education, recruitment, and linkage to ongoing care and community resources.
Participate in contingency planning and service continuity efforts, including adapting to staffing changes, telehealth transitions, and relocation of services when needed.
Ensure adherence to diversion prevention protocols and regulatory requirements, reporting concerns in accordance with organizational policy.
Participate in emergency preparedness and response activities, including deployment of the mobile unit for crisis or community response when applicable.

Qualifications:

Current Florida RN License
Experience in substance abuse, mental health, co-occurring disorders, and/or primary care preferred
