Brown & Brown is seeking a transformational and results-oriented Senior Director, Technology Solutions to lead the strategy, delivery, and ongoing management of enterprise platforms supporting our shared services organizations, including Teammate Resources (HR), Finance, Legal, and other corporate functions.
Reporting directly to the Chief Information Technology Officer, this leader will be responsible for the technology vision, roadmap, governance, and operational performance of our shared services technology ecosystem. The role will serve as a trusted business partner to the Chief People Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Legal Officer, and their leadership teams, ensuring technology investments enable business growth, operational efficiency, compliance, and an exceptional teammate experience.
The ideal candidate combines deep expertise in corporate application management, enterprise platforms, and organizational leadership with a passion for developing people, driving accountability, and delivering business outcomes. This leader must be capable of managing large-scale technology change initiatives with empathy, transparency, and strong communication while building high-performing teams that consistently exceed expectations.

How You Will Contribute:
Strategic Leadership
Develop and execute the technology strategy and roadmap for enterprise shared-services platforms supporting Human Resources, Finance, Legal, Compliance, and other corporate functions.
Partner closely with executive stakeholders to align technology investments with business priorities and long-term organizational objectives.
Identify opportunities to modernize processes, reduce complexity, improve user experience, and increase operational effectiveness across corporate functions.
Serve as a key advisor to the CITO and executive leadership team on shared-services technology strategy, risks, and opportunities.
Enterprise Platform Management
Own the overall health, performance, governance, and lifecycle management of enterprise applications supporting shared services.
Lead strategy and optimization efforts for Workday, including Human Capital Management, Financials, and related platform capabilities.
Oversee a portfolio of enterprise applications, integrations, reporting platforms, workflow solutions, and automation technologies.
Ensure platforms are scalable, secure, compliant, and capable of supporting future business growth.
Build strong relationships with the Chief People Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Legal Officer, and their respective leadership teams.
Translate business needs into technology solutions that drive measurable outcomes.
Establish governance processes that promote alignment, prioritization, transparency, and accountability across stakeholders.
Act as the primary technology leader for corporate shared-services organizations.

Build strong relationships with the Chief People Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Legal Officer, and their respective leadership teams.

Skills & Experience to be Successful:
Required Qualifications
15+ years of progressive leadership experience in enterprise technology organizations.
7+ years leading large teams responsible for enterprise applications, platforms, and technology services.
Demonstrated experience managing technology solutions supporting Human Resources, Finance, Legal, and other corporate functions.
Significant experience with Workday, including partnership with HR and Finance organizations.
Proven success leading enterprise application portfolios and corporate technology platforms.
Experience building organizations, developing leaders, and attracting top talent.
Strong financial management, budgeting, and vendor management experience.
Exceptional communication and executive presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to influence and partner effectively with C-level executives.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Workday HCM, Financials, Payroll, Integrations, Reporting, and related modules.
Experience leading large-scale digital transformation or ERP programs.
Knowledge of process automation, workflow platforms, analytics, and AI-enabled business solutions.
Experience within highly acquisitive or rapidly growing organizations.
ITIL, PMP, Agile, or related certifications.
