Position Summary:
As a Facilities and Grounds Management Specialist, you will be primarily responsible for industrial painting and performing routine maintenance on equipment related to building and grounds upkeep. This role requires expertise in industrial painting, carpentry, drywall installation, plumbing, and masonry to handle minor repairs and enhancements. Seasonal responsibilities include snow removal during winter months, ensuring a safe and accessible environment for all.

- Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication abilities.
- Basic Computer Skills: Proficient in using basic software for documentation.
- Basic Wiring Skills: Ability to perform basic wiring tasks safely and effectively.
- Time Management: Effectively complete daily work orders in a timely manner.
- Customer Service Orientation: Driven to provide excellent service.
- Troubleshooting Skills: Capable of addressing electrical and mechanical issues.
- Maintenance Expertise: Experience in building, grounds, and equipment maintenance.
- Industrial Painting Proficiency: Skills in preparing surfaces, selecting paints, and applying coatings.
- Equipment Operation: Ability to operate power industrial equipment (Forklift, Boom Lift, Scissor Lift).
- Additional Responsibilities: Repair and maintain building doors, perform snow removal, and take on other projects as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Company-paid training at Sherwin Williams upon hire.
- Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operation instructions, and manuals.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and lift up to 50 pounds.
