Full Job Description

CJ Restoration is an established restoration company on Colorado’s Front Range, and we’re expanding our Commercial Division. We’re looking for a commercially credible, self-directed Account Executive who can originate and close storm restoration work on commercial properties across Colorado.

This role is built for someone who gets in front of commercial property owners, property managers, HOAs, and facility leaders — identifies storm damage, builds trust quickly, and moves opportunities to signed contracts. Our operations team handles detailed scoping, insurance coordination, and production. Your job is to develop business, conduct initial inspections, manage the client relationship, and close.

This is not a desk job and not a salaried sales support role. It’s a field-driven commercial sales opportunity for someone who wants autonomy, strong operational backing, and a compensation structure designed for the realities of larger restoration projects and long insurance cycles.

Compensation

Our commission structure was built specifically for commercial restoration — where projects are substantial, claim timelines are long, and the person who originates the business deserves to be protected.

7–10% of gross contract value, based on relevant experience and whether you bring an existing book of business or transferable commercial relationships
No office fee or administrative deduction taken before commission calculation — your rate applies to the real number
18-month post-termination collection tail — three times the industry standard — because commercial claims don’t close in 90 days
Self-generated account protections written into the contractor agreement — your relationships can’t be reassigned without documented cause
Chargeback finality: once a project reaches final billing and closeout, your commission is locked
Quarterly commission statements with full transparency on every payment received and every dollar earned

What You’ll Do

Develop relationships with commercial property owners, property managers, HOAs, and facility decision-makers across Colorado
Prospect and build your own pipeline through networking, referrals, direct outreach, and strategic relationship development
Conduct initial roof and property inspections to identify hail and wind damage on commercial roofing systems
Communicate damage findings clearly and credibly to clients, and position CJ Restoration as the right partner for the job
Drive opportunities from first contact through signed contract
Coordinate a clean handoff to CJ Restoration’s internal team for scoping, insurance support, and production
Maintain inspection photos, CRM records, and contract documentation to support the sale and commission process
Stay engaged with clients through project completion and collection

What You Bring

3+ years in commercial roofing sales, storm restoration sales, large-loss adjusting, public adjusting, or related construction and insurance work
Working knowledge of commercial roofing systems including TPO, EPDM, modified bitumen, metal, and built-up roofing
Ability to identify storm damage in the field and explain it credibly to commercial clients
Professional presence with owners, managers, boards, and institutional stakeholders
Strong follow-through, organization, and pipeline discipline
Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule, prospecting, and territory
Colorado-based, or able to work the Colorado Front Range market consistently

Preferred

Existing Colorado commercial relationships or an active book of business that can be activated quickly
Experience with multi-family, retail, industrial, office, or institutional properties
Haag certification or equivalent inspection background
Familiarity with insurance-driven restoration work and commercial claim environments
