Full Job Description

About The Opportunity

We are a fast growing, high ticket service company serving the automotive industry. We have a proven offer, strong inbound demand, and a sales floor that is already producing. The business is currently doing roughly $300k per month and scaling toward eight figures.

This is not a turnaround. The playbook is built, the offer converts, and the team closes. We are hiring a sales manager for one reason: to coach the existing team from good to elite so the founder can step back from day to day rep development and focus on scale.

If you love the craft of coaching closers and want to be paid on the growth you create, this is a rare seat.

What you will own

Weekly call reviews for every closer and setter, scored and documented, including randomly selected calls rather than only the ones reps choose
Ongoing roleplay and live training focused on objection handling, call control, and price discipline
One on ones, pipeline reviews, and individual development plans for each rep
Reading the sales dashboard weekly to identify constraints and recommend when to add headcount
Ramping new reps quickly and holding the floor to a consistent standard
Direct oversight of a team of 4 closers and 1 setter, with headcount growth expected

What this role is not

Not a systems or process overhaul. The playbook already exists
Not a data or reporting build. You read the numbers, you do not build the dashboards
Not a fulfillment or operations role. A separate team handles delivery
Not a recruiting role on day one. Hiring responsibility is handed to you gradually over your first six months

What we are looking for

Required:

2 plus years managing or coaching a high ticket sales team, or a strong high ticket closing background paired with real coaching experience
Demonstrated ability to review a sales call, diagnose the issue, and deliver specific, actionable feedback
Comfort with a fast, price forward, short cycle sale. One to two call close
Data literacy. You can read a sales dashboard, name the constraint, and choose the right lever
Willingness to work in person in Kansas City, including relocating if needed

Preferred:

Experience managing 1099 closers and setters
Background selling or managing in a business to business environment with owner operator buyers
Track record of measurably improving close rate or show rate on a team you led

Compensation

Base: $100k to $150k per year, depending on experience, paid as 1099
Revenue share: starts at 2% of total team revenue, paid monthly, with the rate tiered at revenue milestones so your total earnings grow as the team scales
Realistic OTE: roughly $200k in year one at current team revenue, with a clear path toward $350k as the business grows
Relocation: full relocation package available for the right candidate

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
