Full Job Description

A dental specialty office is looking for a reliable individual who is eager to help people and give excellent patient care by assisting the local root canal dentist. We need someone who is looking for job stability and is eager to learn new skills. No experience is necessary, but we do desire a strong work ethic and pleasant chair-side disposition. A higher rate of pay is possible for those who are licensed LDAs. A CPR license is required within 30 days of hire and we will pay for and arrange this minimal training required by the board of dentistry. This is a Tuesday-Friday 7:30-4:30 position. Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Welcome patients to the dental office/operatory
Select and set up instruments, equipment and material needed
Sterilize instruments according to regulations
Assist the dentist in performing root canals and apical surgeries
Prepare patient for dentist to take digital radiographs and 3d images
Provide post-operative care instructions
Keep the dental operatories clean and well-stocked
Check supply inventory and order supplies
Maintain accurate patient records
Occasionally assisting the front desk
Making post-operative calls to evaluate patient well-being

Skills

Experience not required. We will train.
Excellent communication and people skills
Attention to detail is required
Well-organized and reliable
Preference is for applicants with healthcare work experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
