Salary: $55,000 annually

Career Strategies is seeking an experienced Property Manager to oversee a multifamily apartment community in Owatonna, MN. We're looking for a motivated leader with a passion for property management, resident satisfaction, and operational excellence.

If you have a proven track record of increasing occupancy, managing onsite teams, and delivering outstanding customer service, we'd love to connect with you.

Responsibilities

Oversee the daily operations of a multifamily apartment community.
Lead, coach, and develop leasing and maintenance team members.
Maximize occupancy through leasing, resident retention, and exceptional customer service.
Prepare and manage property budgets while monitoring financial performance.
Oversee rent collections, delinquency, and accounts receivable.
Approve leases, renewals, move-ins, and move-outs.
Coordinate with maintenance to ensure service requests and apartment turns are completed promptly.
Build positive relationships with residents, vendors, and ownership.
Ensure compliance with Fair Housing laws and company policies.
Maintain accurate reporting and property records.

Qualifications

2+ years of Property Manager experience in multifamily housing preferred.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Experience with budgeting, occupancy, leasing, and financial reporting.
Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations.
Experience with Yardi, RealPage, OneSite, Entrata, or similar property management software is preferred.
Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
