We are seeking an experienced Senior CNC Programmer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, optimizing, and maintaining CNC programs for precision-machined components while ensuring quality, efficiency, and production goals are met. This role requires extensive knowledge of CNC machining processes, tooling, CAD/CAM software, blueprint interpretation, and process improvement, and Programming knowledge of mill/turn B-axis machines.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Prepares, optimizes, and maintains CNC programs
- Develops, maintains, and optimizes manufacturing processes.
- Prepares and maintains manufacturing processes documentation.
- Assures that appropriate processes and tooling are utilized
- Strives for continuous improvement
- Consistently improves productivity, cycle time, flow days, and cost effectiveness
- Maintains currency in knowledge of the latest relevant machining technologies
- Communicate information required by other Wilwood personnel.
- Trains co-workers in order to provide proper proficiency.
- Maintains the priorities of safety, housekeeping, quality, service and productivity within the scope of assigned projects.
- Maintain effective operational procedures to assure configuration control and accuracy.
- Ensure that processes are cost effective, price competitive and maintain a high standard of quality and integrity.
- Alerts management to potential risks.
- Monitors and reports when necessary on critical producibility or high variability points within the developmental process flow.
- Participates in the “Research and Development to Production Transition” process to assure good configuration control and low design and inventory risk.
- Maintains currency in latest relevant manufacturing technologies.
- Seeks professional growth and advancement through continued education.
- Performs other related duties as assigned by Management.
- Responsible for, and given organizational freedom to report quality deficiencies, recommend solutions, and implement approved corrective and preventative action.

Education and/or Experience:
High School diploma or equivalent. Five to fifteen years related industry experience.
Skills and Abilities:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret; product drawings, technical requirements, industry periodicals, and professional journals.
Ability to develop manufacturing machining sequences, apply appropriate feeds & speeds, and create CNC programs.
Proficient in the use of MASTERCAM and some working knowledge of Solidworks.
Ability to develop new tooling and assembly concepts and implement into production.
Ability to analyze and define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions and solve problems.
The possession of the above with the ability to translate them into tangible benefits.
Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with peers and management.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
