As a Security Officer County Hospital in Ventura, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As a Security Officer supporting a government healthcare location, you will conduct routine unarmed patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service to visitors, staff, and patients. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a government healthcare location.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
Respond to incidents, disturbances, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site personnel and/or public emergency services as needed.
Monitor access points, observe visitor and employee activity, and support compliance with facility access procedures and visitor-management requirements.
Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain activity logs for incidents, patrol observations, and security-related concerns in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
Be at least 21 years of age.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
