We are looking for an experienced Lead Line Cook/Kitchen Manager who is dependable, organized, and takes pride in preparing exceptional food while maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with health department regulations and food safety standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen at all times.
- Properly label, rotate, and store food products.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering food and kitchen supplies.
- Maintain portion control and minimize food waste.
- Work closely with team members to ensure efficient and timely meal service.
- Train new kitchen staff on food preparation techniques, food safety, cleanliness, and proper equipment operation.
- Monitor food quality and presentation before serving customers.
- Help maintain kitchen equipment and report maintenance needs promptly.
- Follow all company policies and ServSafe food safety procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of professional line cook or commercial kitchen experience required.
- Previous kitchen lead or kitchen management experience preferred.
- Current ServSafe Food Protection Manager Certification is required.
- Strong knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and health regulations.
- Excellent cooking, meal preparation, and food presentation skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Compensation & Benefits
- Full-time position (35–40 hours per week) with possible overtime.
- Starting pay is $16.00–$18.00 per hour, depending on experience.
- Following a successful 90-day introductory period, employees are eligible for a performance review with the opportunity for a wage increase, based on reliability, attendance, cooking ability, cleanliness, teamwork, initiative, and overall performance.
- Employee discounts working a scheduled shift of six (6) hours or more may purchase one meal per shift at 50% off the regular menu price.
- Complimentary bottled water is provided during scheduled shifts to help employees stay hydrated while working in a hot kitchen environment.
