Our Client, Wells Landscaping & Lawn Care, Inc., a premier lawn and landscape service industry company is preparing to hire a Maintenance Production Manager.

Job Summary

The Maintenance Production Manager position assists the Owner with the overall day to day operations of the maintenance department. Mowing and maintenance teams report to this position. The position is responsible for either assisting with or managing in whole the following: scheduling, inventory, hiring, managing, ordering, up-sales, and quality control. In addition, this person will also drive production and the training of staff. This position will be a dual position with working in the field at times, as well as operations work in the office. The Company provides mowing, weed control/fertilization, mulching, leaf removal, bush trimming, and other general lawn maintenance, also winter services to residential and commercial entities and other general lawn maintenance services.

Essential Requirements, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

High School Diploma or equivalent (i.e. military, GED)
Valid Class E driver’s license and ability to be insured on company policy
Two (2) years in a Field Operations Role with industry experience or similar experience in a comparable industry
Two (2) years of prior Professional Level Landscape and Lawn business experience; residential and commercial maintenance industry
Proficient working knowledge of a CRM, Google Suite and mobile devices
Self-motivated, well organized, and professional
Excellent skills in team management, verbal and written communication, and time management
Collaboration experience but comfortable working alone or without supervision for extended periods of time
Ability to fairly and consistently motivate and coach employees to maintain high morale while enforcing company policies and procedures
Ability to work with hand tools, power tools, small engine equipment, heavy equipment, and materials as needed
Knowledge of Quality control
Desire to Learn Training, Disciplining, and Scheduling of Team Members
Demonstrated Problem Solving/Analysis skills
Excellent Customer Service and Client Focus
Ability to maintain composure and keep a positive, friendly attitude
Ability to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
Ability to work flexible working hours, including Saturday work if necessary
English fluency in reading, writing, and speaking
Authorized to work in the United States

Bonus Points if You Have These

Certified Pesticide Applicators License – is a plus, but not a requirement
Horticulture degree or extensive plant knowledge is preferred
Four (4) + years of prior Professional Level Landscape and Lawn business experience; residential and commercial maintenance industry
Knowledge of proper pruning techniques for the landscape maintenance industry
Knowledge of specific materials, methods, tools, and equipment required to complete various lawn maintenance tasks.
Intermediate use of Service AutoPilot CRM
Bilingual- English and Spanish
