<Overview>
Join our dynamic finance team as an Bookkeeper, where your enthusiasm for numbers and detail-oriented mindset will play a vital role in maintaining accurate financial records. This energetic position offers the opportunity to develop your accounting skills while supporting the overall financial health of our organization. You’ll assist with essential bookkeeping tasks, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and help streamline financial processes to keep our operations running smoothly.

<Responsibilities>

Assist with daily bookkeeping activities, including data entry and transaction recording using accounting software such as QuickBooks or similar platforms.
Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger account analysis to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data.
Prepare journal entries, process accounts payable and receivable, and manage invoice processing to support timely payments and collections.
Conduct balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation to verify account balances align with supporting documentation.
Support payroll processing, tax filings, and governmental accounting requirements to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Assist in financial report writing, including preparing summaries for management review and supporting audit processes.
Maintain meticulous records of all financial transactions, including debits & credits, account analysis, and account reconciliation activities.

<Skills>

Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks
Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and double-entry bookkeeping principles.
Knowledge of corporate accounting practices as well as non-profit accounting procedures.
Experience with governmental accounting standards and tax experience is advantageous.
Ability to perform detailed account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and general ledger reconciliation efficiently.
Familiarity with financial concepts including debits & credits, journal entries, accounts payable/receivable, and account analysis.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail; proficiency in 10-key typing for data entry accuracy.
Strong communication skills for financial report writing and collaborating across departments.
Ability to adapt quickly to new financial software and tools while maintaining high accuracy standards.
