Part-Time Small Business & Family Assistant

Administrative Support Client Scheduling Billing Social Media Occasional Child Transportation

About the Role

We are looking for a dependable, organized, and proactive assistant to support a small business owner with a variety of administrative, client-facing, and personal support tasks. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys keeping things running smoothly, can manage multiple priorities, communicates professionally, and is comfortable helping in both business and family-related areas when needed.

Key Responsibilities

· Organize business tasks, documents, calendars, files, and daily priorities.

· Assist with planning, researching, and organizing new business ideas or projects.

· Support insurance billing, claims follow-up, and related administrative paperwork.

· Schedule clients, confirm appointments, and communicate professionally with clients as needed.

· Help create, schedule, and manage basic social media posts and updates.

· Track outstanding balances and assist with collecting payments due in a professional manner.

· Maintain accurate records, notes, and follow-up lists.

· Run occasional errands or assist with special projects as assigned.

· Provide occasional transportation for children to after-school activities, if needed.

Ideal Candidate

· Highly organized, reliable, and detail-oriented.

· Professional, friendly, and comfortable communicating with clients.

· A self-starter who can take initiative and follow through on tasks.

· Comfortable using phones, email, calendars, basic office software, and social media platforms.

· Trustworthy and discreet with confidential business, client, and family information.

· Experience with insurance billing, administrative support, scheduling, collections, or small business operations is a plus.

· Must have a valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transportation if child transportation is required.

Schedule & Location

This is a part-time position located in Saint Augustine Beach, FL. The schedule is Monday through Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Some tasks may include in-person support, local errands, or occasional transportation assistance as needed.

Compensation

Pay range is $18–$20 per hour, based on experience, availability, and responsibilities.
