Full Job Description

We are currently looking for an Apartment Manager in Desert Hot Springs, California.

The position is on-site and includes a 3-bedroom apartment unit.

We are a non-profit founded in the 1990s, and we are committed to improving the quantity and quality of affordable housing opportunities throughout Southern California. Join our team!
By changing just one person's housing situation, we can help them develop a better life for themselves, their family, and their community.

Residential property management experience is required for this job; affordable housing experience a plus.
Managing the apartments and sites, and interacting with current and prospective tenants: Keeping track of the overall condition of the property to schedule repairs, maintaining necessary paperwork, and resolving any tenant concerns are the primary day-to-day tasks.
You must be able to effectively communicate, and be able to handle any conflict with tact and professionalism, as you interact with potential and current tenants.
We have a great and dedicated team of property management staff, and headquarters administrative staff, for you to learn from and work with, and there is ongoing training offered to help you succeed as a property manager and property management assistant.

Apartment managing experience, great customer service, and knowledge of apartment software.

**You must have at least 2 years residential property management experience for this position.**

Please include what apartment management software you have familiarity or experience with, such as AppFolio or Yardi.
