Full Job Description

Position Summary

MUST HAVE CDM

The Dietary Manger is responsible for the day to day coordination of food service activities and providing the level of supervision necessary so that quality services and excellent customer service are provided for our Senior Living Facility. Responsible for the sanitary handling and preparation of food using standardized recipes and meeting daily meal schedules, and serving required portions. Oversee daily food service operations, ensuring high standards of food preparation and presentation. Must have knowledge of cost control, food management, diet therapy, Regulatory Standards with Foodservice inclusive of CMS, State Survey Regulations and local Health Department Requirements.

Job responsibilities include, but not limited to:

· Ordering, preparing and serving meals that are appetizing in accordance with portion control procedures, as well as for therapeutic diets in accordance with scheduled menus and sanitary regulations.

· Follow established Infection Control and Universal Precaution policies when performing daily tasks and implement changes necessary.

· Maintain confidentiality of all resident information and facility business.

· Confers with staff and residents to plan menus and related activities.

· Keep accurate budget records.

· Directs hiring, assignment, scheduling, and training.

· Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

· Must have very strong leadership skills and a proven track record.

· Must have experience in Senior Living Community.

· Must be a team player.

· Must be able to work with budgetary guidelines for raw food, supplies, and labor controls.

-Must be able to provide exceptional customer service, addressing any concerns promptly.

MUST HAVE CURRENT STATE CDM LICENSE.
