The Infrastructure Cloud Administrator is responsible for administering, monitoring, and improving cloud, hybrid, and on-premises infrastructure environments. This role supports reliable and secure operations across cloud platforms, identity services, virtual servers, storage, networking, backups, and system monitoring. The ideal candidate combines hands-on cloud administration experience with strong knowledge of Cisco networking, firewall management, network segmentation, and secure connectivity between cloud and on-premises systems.

Cloud Infrastructure Administration: Design, deploy, configure, maintain, and monitor AWS and Azure cloud environments, including virtual machines, storage, networking, identity and access controls, backups, logging, and performance monitoring.

Privileged Access Management (PAM): Administer and enforce privileged access policies to secure critical systems and data, ensuring leastprivilege principles are followed.

Infrastructure Planning: Support cloud and network infrastructure planning aligned with organizational goals, operational needs, security standards, and business continuity requirements.

Monitoring and Alerting: Monitor system, network, and cloud platform alerts; review logs; escalate issues; and support timely resolution of availability, performance, and securityrelated events.

Cisco Networking Administration: Administer, secure, and troubleshoot Cisco network infrastructure, including switches, routers, VLANs, routing, access control lists, VPN connectivity, and network segmentation.

Patch, Vulnerability, and Compliance Support: Support patching, vulnerability remediation, configuration reviews, and compliance activities in alignment with organizational policies and applicable regulatory requirements.

Operational Support: Assist with troubleshooting, containment, remediation, and documentation of cloud, network, firewall, and infrastructure incidents.

Vendor and Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and internal IT teams to support cloud services, networking, firewall platforms, licensing, support cases, and infrastructure improvements.

Documentation and Standards: Maintain documentation for cloud environments, network configurations, firewall rules, operational procedures, diagrams, and administrative standards.

Collaboration and Technical Support: Serve as a technical resource for cloud, network, firewall, and infrastructure administration, collaborating with IT teams to maintain reliable and secure operations.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field is desired. Equivalent enterpriselevel work experience will be considered. Relevant cloud, networking, or systems administration certifications are preferred, such as AWS, Azure, Cisco, or related certifications.

Minimum Experience: 37 years of progressive experience in IT systems administration, networking, infrastructure operations, or cloud administration, with at least 3 years focused on cloud platform administration. Demonstrated experience administering Cisco network infrastructure and enterprise firewall platforms. Experience working in a financial institution, particularly a credit union, is highly desirable.

Technical Skills:

Cloud Platforms: Extensive handson experience administering AWS and Azure
environments, including compute, storage, networking, identity, monitoring, backup, and automation services.

Networking: Handson understanding of Cisco networking, routing, switching, VLANs, VPNs, network segmentation, and secure hybrid connectivity between cloud and on premises environments.

Firewall Administration: Experience managing firewall policies, access control rules,
NAT, site-to-site VPNs, remote access VPNs, intrusion prevention features, traffic inspection, and firewall log analysis. Cisco firewall experience, such as Cisco ASA,
Firepower, or Secure Firewall, is preferred.

Administration Tools: Handson experience with cloud management consoles, monitoring tools, backup platforms, endpoint or server administration tools, PAM, SIEM, or related infrastructure management systems.

Infrastructure as Code and Automation: Experience with Terraform, Azure Bicep, AWS CloudFormation, ARM templates, PowerShell, or scripting tools to automate cloud resource deployment, configuration management, and operational tasks.

Working Conditions: Fulltime, onsite position. Professional office setting with a collaborative atmosphere. Occasional travel may be required for meetings with members, partners, regulatory agencies and conferences. Availability for occasional evening or weekend work may be necessary during highpriority activities, business events, or special projects. May require prolonged periods of sitting, using a computer, or attending meetings. Minimal physical exertion required but may need to lift items up to 40 pounds.
